This study aimed to analyze the nature of common sports injuries among basketball players in the city of Bethlehem, identifying their locations and examining their relationship with certain demographic variables (gender, age, weight, and height). The study seeks to highlight the most frequent injuries among players to propose effective preventive recommendations that may help reduce injury rates and improve player readiness. The researcher employed the descriptive survey method. A 20-item questionnaire was developed based on a five-point Likert scale. The validity of the instrument was confirmed through expert review, and its reliability was established using Cronbach's Alpha (0.90). The study sample consisted of 63 male and female basketball players from Bethlehem Governorate. The results revealed that the most common type of injury was sprains, accounting for 35.9%, followed by fractures and muscle contusions. The foot/ankle region was the most affected, representing 39.1% of all injuries. The analysis also indicated no statistically significant differences in injury rates based on gender, age, weight, or height, suggesting a relative homogeneity in injury patterns across the different demographic groups.
